Garlic Tomato Shrimp with Linguine Pasta

Garlic Tomato Shrimp and Linguini Pasta


• 1 box uncooked linguini pasta’

• 1 lb uncooked shrimp( peeled and deveined)

• 1 small onion ( diced)

• 2 garlic cloves ( minced)

• 1 can roasted diced tomatoes

• 2 tbsp butter

• 2 tbsp olive oil

• Salt n pepper to taste

• ½ cup chicken or seafood broth

• ½ cup heavy cream ( optional)


Cook pasta using directions on the box. Rinse with cold water to stop cooking and set aside. Season shrimp with salt n pepper, In a large sauce pan with a lid heat olive oil and brown shrimp on each side, about a minute on each side, set brown shrimp aside on a plate, add the butter to same pan, when the butter melts, add the minced garlic and minced onions, sauté till softened about 3 minutes, add the chicken or seafood broth, then the can tomato in the pan, stir and combine well, cover and bring to a low boil When it comes to a boil add the drained pasta in using a tongue mix all the ingredients really well, then add the brown shrimp back in and continue to stir. If you chose to use the heavy cream mix in as well, and stir for about 3 minutes.
